Join the fun and excitement for the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Favorite Fair Food Contest to get a sneak peek at some of this year's Fair Food options!
Visitors are welcome to join the competition watching the live judging process starting at 4:00 pm at the WEAU News 13 Front Porch on the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. This friendly competition will be emceed by Mike McKay, representing 105.7 FM WCFW.
The distinguished panel of NWSF Favorite Fair Food judges includes local media celebrities including Alex Loroff (WEAU News 13); Katie Phernetton (WQOW News 18); McKenna Scherer (Volume One); T-RI (92.9 The X/Midwest Family Broadcasting) and Jill Welke (104.5 WAXX & The Farm/Midwest Family Broadcasting).
Food Vendors are welcome to enter up to two of the five categories: Entree; Side Dish; Beverage; Dessert; Featured Local Ingredient (of choice); and Most Creative. The Food Vendor earning top honors in each category will receive a dated recognition banner and promotion across the Fair's Facebook page and daily announcements throughout the July 10-14 Fair dates
After the contest, all visitors are welcome to the NWSF's Leine Lodge Tent Area for an evening of entertainment and live music from
The Dweebs who will be performing from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
All items entered in the NWSF Favorite Fair Food Contest will be available for purchase during the official Fair dates, July 10-14.
